Lowcountry Strong.
America First.

Jenny Costa Honeycutt is a lifelong Lowcountry resident and unapologetic conservative running for Congress to serve the people and protect the place she loves.

Growing up on James Island before the Connector existed, Jenny’s childhood was spent surfing on Folly Beach, fishing near the Morris Island Lighthouse, swimming for the Fort Johnson Swim Team, hunting the Dill Tract with her father, and spending weekends on Lake Moultrie with her great grandparents in Bonneau – experiences that fostered her deep appreciation for the Lowcountry’s natural beauty and unique quality of life. Her upbringing and experience raising her own three children drives Jenny’s commitment to preserving the character of the Lowcountry for future generations.

Jenny graduated from Ashley Hall before earning dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Studies and Speech Communication from Meredith College, where she was also a student-athlete. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. During law school, Jenny researched in the Governor’s Office the impact of proposed legislation on South Carolina businesses – an early foundation for the policy-focused leadership she brings to public service.

After practicing law at a statewide firm for eight years, Jenny became a small business owner on James Island. Through her firm, Costa Honeycutt, Jenny helps job creators navigate government regulations and the legal system. Jenny has earned distinctions including “Legal Elite of the Lowcountry,” recognition as a “Super Lawyer,” and an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell – a reflection of her integrity, work ethic, and deep respect within the legal community.

Licensed to practice in South Carolina’s state and federal courts as well as the US Supreme Court and certified by the SC Supreme Court as a circuit court mediator, Jenny is known as a fierce advocate, skilled negotiator, and consensus builder. She brings these strengths to her conservative leadership, always prioritizing the real-world impact of government decisions on families, workers, and small businesses.

As a wife, mother, attorney, small business owner, youth sports coach and local elected official – Jenny has spent her life serving her community and standing up for our conservative values. As an elected Republican official, Jenny has balanced budgets, stood strong with law enforcement, and defended the Constitution.

Frustrated with too many politicians chasing clickbait and headlines, Jenny is running for Congress to give South Carolina’s First Congressional District serious, solid, conservative leadership. In Congress, Jenny will fight to preserve what makes the Lowcountry special, strengthen our economy, support small businesses, secure the border, protect families, and advance the America First agenda.

Jenny and her husband, Trey, have three children. They attend James Island Christian Church and remain deeply involved in community service, including Jenny’s work with the Junior League of Charleston to support vulnerable families and combat poverty.

Grounded in faith, family, and the Lowcountry values that shaped her life, Jenny Costa Honeycutt is ready to serve South Carolina’s Lowcountry in Washington.
